Description

You will design and build Java applications to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using VMware tools.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Java applications for infrastructure automation using VRA/VRO and Salt.
• Implement orchestration patterns for system deployments, installation, and configuration.
• Lead low-level design, break down work into stories, and estimate timelines accurately.
• Perform impact analysis for new requirements and communicate architectural solutions to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior team members and drive continuous improvement by investigating new technologies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Expertise in Core Java 8 and above.
• Proficiency in Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Data-JPA.
• Strong background in Microservices architecture and patterns.
• Deep knowledge of SQL, Hibernate, Maven, and Jenkins.
• Experience with Oracle, Postgres, or MongoDB databases.
• Knowledge of messaging architecture, specifically Kafka.
• Experience with container technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.

Preferred Skills

• AWS knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of Spring Cloud.
