Description

You will lead Kafka platform initiatives and maintain Confluent Kafka clusters in production.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Confluent Kafka clusters to ensure high availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform-level issues.
• Define and enforce Kafka best practices, design patterns, and operational standards.
• Drive improvements in monitoring, alerting, and Kafka observability.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to developers and junior engineers.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in technical roles.
• Deep expertise in Confluent Kafka and the Kafka ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of Kafka internals, architecture, replication, and partitioning strategies.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting Kafka performance and availability issues.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor teams.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with RabbitMQ or Pulsar.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, or Terraform.
