Description

You will lead the deployment, scaling, and management of Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Kubernetes workload optimization, including controllers, operators, storage classes, configMaps, and secrets.
  • Implement security measures and ensure compliance with established security standards.
  • Troubleshoot cluster issues related to networking, storage, and resource utilization.
  • Configure hardware, services, settings, and storage for containerized workloads.
  • Administer stateful sets and persistent storage management systems.

Required Skills

  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes Deployment Model and architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes Operator and Custom Resource Definitions (CRD).
  • Experience with Helm charts and deployments.
  • Proficiency with K8s CSI drivers and persistent storage orchestrators like Portworx or Storx.
  • Infrastructure as Code experience using Ansible or Terraform.
  • Integration experience with Vault management systems.
  • Scripting or coding proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash.
  • Experience with CI/CD automation and GIT.
  • Unix/Linux server administration and management.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Rancher K8s platform or GitLab CI/CD.
  • Apache Cassandra stateful set management in K8/RKE.
  • Apigee Hybrid & X deployment, including installation, architecture, and multi-region setup.
