Description

You will manage the operation, maintenance, and optimization of Linux-based server environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Linux server availability and performance through regular health checks, patching, and software upgrades.
• Execute incident and problem management, including root cause analysis and post-incident investigation.
• Collaborate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) on tool tuning, integration, and incident response playbooks.
• Develop and update operational documentation, including SOPs, application checklists, and playbooks.
• Implement automated near real-time monitoring to ensure proper tool operation and data collection.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in IT environments.
• 7+ years of experience installing, administering, and maintaining Oracle or Red Hat Linux servers.
• 5+ years of experience designing redundant systems, including high availability, load balancing, and disaster recovery.
• 5+ years of experience designing, analyzing, and repairing large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience deploying and maintaining AWS and on-premises Linux servers.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and application deployment automation.
• Proficiency with Ansible Automation Platform, Chef, Puppet, or Terraform.
• Knowledge of virtualization, networking, and storage management.
• Strong technical documentation and organizational skills.
