Description

You will own the architecture, development, and deployment of machine learning algorithms and their underlying production systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain end-to-end solutions for batch and real-time algorithms, including monitoring, logging, and automated testing.
• Build scalable, automated processes for model development, validation, and implementation.
• Write efficient, well-organized software for iterative, continuous-release environments.
• Mentor team members on best practices for writing and maintaining production machine learning code.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to deploy product features across ecommerce, in-store portals, and mobile applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience developing and deploying machine learning systems into production.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, C++, or Scala.
• Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Experience with at least one cloud provider including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Working knowledge of distributed systems, service-oriented architectures, and API design.
• Competency in Linux environments.
• Expertise in software engineering methodologies, including unit testing, test automation, CI, code reviews, and design documentation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant working experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
