Description

You will own the design, development, and maintenance of mainframe-based solutions, translating business requirements into technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for project alignment.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process flows, use cases, and functional specs.
• Design and implement technical solutions using JCL, COBOL, VSAM, and Mainframe Utilities.
• Conduct system testing and validation to ensure solutions meet quality standards and business needs.
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and process improvement recommendations for implemented solutions.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in core mainframe development.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, and VSAM.
• Deep understanding of the z/OS operating environment.
• Experience with SOAP and RESTful web services.
• Ability to gather detailed business requirements and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Strong data analysis skills to support decision-making processes.
