Description

You will lead the design, coding, testing, and maintenance of complex IBM mainframe applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and maintain applications using IBM mainframe technologies.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with support teams to resolve failures.
• Participate in on-call rotation to resolve application issues and assist in business data processing research.
• Peer review code and technical documents, and assist QA teams in unit, integration, and contract testing.

Required Skills

• 5 to 8+ years of experience with IBM Mainframes, COBOL, IMS DB, DB2, JCL, MQ Series, and Xpeditor.
• Strong testing experience, including unit, integration, and contract testing.
• Working knowledge of Spring Boot and Git.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Exceptional initiative and ability to self-start without production support constraints.
• Strong communication skills for virtual team collaboration and technical recommendations.
