Description

You will design, code, test, and maintain applications on IBM mainframes.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain high-quality code in COBOL, IMS DB, DB2, and JCL.
• Assist Quality Assurance teams with unit, integration, and contract testing.
• Peer review code and technical documents for team members.
• Troubleshoot system performance, resolve on-call issues, and coordinate with support teams.
• Research and resolve business data processing issues.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with IBM mainframes.
• Proficiency in COBOL, IMS DB, DB2, JCL, MQ Series, and Xpeditor.
• Working knowledge of Spring Boot and Git.
• Strong testing experience across unit, integration, and contract levels.
• Ability to work independently in a virtual environment.
• Excellent communication skills and initiative.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a lead or senior individual contributor role.
