Description

You will design and implement scalable mainframe solutions for complex financial business processes while mentoring the development team and guiding quality assurance efforts.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable solutions for cross-functional application projects.
• Provide guidance and oversight to quality assurance teams from code inception through production.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues using standard troubleshooting tools and techniques.
• Mentor peers and provide hands-on technical support to the development team.
• Collaborate with architects to define roadmaps, standardize processes, and drive documentation guidelines.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as a lead developer or development manager.
• 5+ years of experience with COBOL and CA Gen.
• Proficiency with DB2 for z/OS.
• Experience with Oracle databases or similar relational databases.
• Working knowledge of Classic ASP.
• Ability to apply current software development methodologies to project lifecycles.
• Experience working within distributed, cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
