Description

Lead end-to-end testing activities across Hogan, ALS, CACS, and ACAPS applications.

Responsibilities

• Define test strategies by translating business and functional requirements into test plans, scenarios, and cases.
• Manage test execution, defect tracking, and closure, ensuring traceability to business requirements.
• Coordinate testing efforts between onsite and offshore teams, serving as the primary testing point of contact.
• Provide User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support and guide defect triage calls to facilitate releases.
• Mentor junior testers and drive process improvements in mainframe testing, including automation initiatives.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Mainframe Testing environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, and Abend-Aid.
• Proficiency in mainframe tooling, including File-Aid and CA7/Control-M.
• In-depth knowledge of banking domains: Hogan (Deposits), ALS (Loan servicing), CACS (Collections), and ACAPS (Credit application).
• Experience defining test strategy, planning, estimation, and team coordination.
• Proficiency using defect and test management tools such as HP ALM or JIRA.
• Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage expectations in customer-facing roles.
