Description

You will lead manufacturing engineering activities to meet operational, NPI, and project targets across all manufacturing cells.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Guide, mentor, and develop Manufacturing Engineers, Junior Engineers, and Technicians through daily coaching and objective setting.
• Design and develop lean manufacturing cells, assembly equipment, and testing fixtures, including liaison with external suppliers.
• Generate and update Process Control Plans (PCPs), Visual Control Plans (VCPs), Test Control Plans (TCPs), FMEAs, and SOPs.
• Manage engineering projects within agreed timeframes and budgets to achieve business objectives.
• Lead cost reduction and process efficiency activities using statistical tools to validate new processes or equipment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Thorough understanding of lean principles including Kaizen, 5S, and Kanban.
• Experience managing projects from inception to completion within budget.
• Ability to develop and maintain departmental procedures and training records.
• Experience in specifying and purchasing production facilities.
• Proficiency in conducting process analysis and statistical validation.
• Support prototype builds and NPI activities while conducting time studies and reporting SMV to AMV variations.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of Creo or AutoCAD.
• Experience with hydraulics and/or pneumatics.
• Six Sigma qualification.
