Description

This role will serve as the primary leader for Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Generative AI initiatives, acting as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders, IT leadership, AI leadership, and delivery teams. The individual will be responsible for defining solution roadmaps, prioritizing business demand, guiding development teams, and ensuring scalable, secure, and high-value solutions are delivered to the enterprise.

In addition to strong technical expertise, this role requires exceptional leadership, consulting, and stakeholder management skills to advise business leaders on how AI and automation can improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership

• Serve as the Power Platform and Copilot Studio subject matter expert for Hexion.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand business challenges, identify automation opportunities, and define AI-enabled solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to IT Leadership, Digital Transformation Leadership, and AI Governance teams.
• Evaluate and prioritize business requests, balancing business value, technical feasibility, risk, and implementation effort.
• Establish and maintain the Power Platform and Copilot Studio roadmap aligned with Hexion's digital transformation strategy.
• Recommend enterprise standards, governance models, and best practices for Power Platform and Generative AI adoption.
• Translate business requirements into scalable architecture and implementation plans.

Delivery Leadership

• Lead and mentor onshore and offshore development teams.
• Provide technical direction and architectural oversight to the India-based Power Platform and AI development teams.
• Review solution designs, architecture decisions, and development approaches.
• Ensure adherence to development standards, governance, security, and documentation requirements.
• Drive solution prioritization and sprint planning activities.
• Manage technical risks, dependencies, and implementation challenges.
• Support production deployments and solution lifecycle management.

AI & Automation Solution Ownership

• Lead end-to-end implementation of enterprise solutions leveraging:
  • Microsoft Copilot Studio
  • Power Apps
  • Power Automate
  • Dataverse
  • Azure Services
  • Generative AI technologies
• Design intelligent copilots, AI assistants, and business process automations.
• Identify reusable patterns and accelerators to improve delivery efficiency.
• Define KPIs and success metrics to measure business value realization.

Core Technical Skills (Mandatory)

Microsoft Power Platform

• Extensive hands-on experience with:
  • Power Apps
  • Power Automate
  • Dataverse
  • Power Platform Administration and Governance
• Strong experience with Power Fx.
• Ability to design and implement end-to-end enterprise solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.
• Experience creating enterprise-grade applications and workflow automation solutions.
• Experience implementing Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) using Azure DevOps and Power Platform pipelines.

Microsoft Copilot Studio & Generative AI

• Deep expertise building enterprise copilots using Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Experience designing conversational AI and agent-based solutions.
• Strong understanding of:

  • RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Graph APIs.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, SSO, Managed Identity, and OBO Flows.
• Experience deploying copilots through Teams, Web, and enterprise channels.
• Experience implementing AI governance and Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE).
• Familiarity with SAP integrations and manufacturing business processes.
• Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, or AI certifications.
• Experience leading enterprise AI transformation initiatives.

Experience Required

• 10+ years of application development and enterprise solution delivery experience.
• 5+ years of Microsoft Power Platform experience.
• 3+ years of Microsoft Copilot Studio, Conversational AI, or Generative AI solution experience.
• Experience working directly with executive business stakeholders and technology leadership teams.
• Experience leading global delivery teams in an onshore-offshore operating model
