Description

You will administer middleware environments, manage application servers, and automate release pipelines.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer WebSphere Application Server environments to ensure stability and performance.
• Manage middleware products including Apache, JBoss, WebLogic, and Tomcat.
• Execute software releases using Ansible, Ansible Tower, XLR, Bitbucket, and Celestial.
• Automate operational tasks using shell, Python, and Perl scripting.
• Support network infrastructure connectivity including HTTP/S, TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, and load-balancers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in middleware administration.
• Mandatory expertise in WebSphere Administration.
• Proficiency with J2EE, Java, and Java/Container frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and security including TCP/IP, TLS, firewalls, proxies, and B2B links.
• Experience with automation and release deployment tools such as Ansible and Bitbucket.
• Ability to script in Python, Perl, or Shell.
