Description

Lead the development, deployment, and scaling of machine learning pipelines and production systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Prepare data for machine learning models by discovering, accessing, transforming, and cleaning various data sources.
• Partner with data scientists to design, implement, and refine machine learning algorithms and production-ready pipelines.
• Execute A/B tests, perform statistical analysis on results, and communicate model impact to engineers and leadership.
• Build, deploy, and operate large-scale ML pipelines using batch and streaming big data technologies within Kubernetes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Spark, Java, Kafka/Kafka Streams, and Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and performance complexity.
• Experience with I/O and memory tuning in relation to computer architecture.
• Practical knowledge of machine learning techniques such as classification, regression, and clustering.
• Proficiency with SQL and common data query and processing tools.
• MS or PhD in Computer Science, ML, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Evaluate new machine learning platforms and open source frameworks for potential adoption.
