Lead the architecture and development of mobile applications and vehicle connectivity solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop mobile application requirements, architectural designs, and sub-component specifications for vehicle connectivity.
• Design security features to protect mobile applications from unauthorized access to safety-critical vehicle modules and networks.
• Implement UI/UX, backend, framework, and frontend features for both Android and iOS environments.
• Collaborate with third-party hardware and software suppliers to elicit requirements and establish internal test environments.
• Lead the technology roadmap for vehicle connectivity, Wi-Fi, and infotainment features through industry partnerships.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in mobile application development.
• Automotive OEM experience is required.
• Proven track record building mobile apps with large user bases interfacing with cloud/server applications.
• Expertise in Kotlin for Android development and Swift for iOS development.
• Experience developing subsystems involving audio/video playback via USB, Bluetooth, Android Auto, or CarPlay.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful concepts and using OpenAPI specifications for endpoint architecture and documentation.
• Experience designing intuitive application interface endpoints for internal and user-facing device accessibility.
• Ability to test, verify, and validate mobile software using industry-standard tools.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
