Description

You will lead mobile development across Android and iOS, staying hands-on while guiding implementation and mentoring mid-level engineers.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead mobile development efforts across Android and iOS platforms.
• Ship new features and improve existing ones based on customer feedback.
• Write and expand automated test coverage for mobile applications.
• Build and maintain integrations with third-party services and data providers.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and establish technical best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience with native iOS and Android development.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and Xcode for iOS development.
• Solid knowledge of Java and Android Studio for Android development.
• Experience working with Firebase services, including real-time data, storage, and authentication.
• Strong object-oriented design skills with a focus on testable, maintainable code.
• Ability to deliver consistently on well-defined work and break down larger technical projects.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Node.js back-end services or serverless/cloud functions.
• Experience scaling applications in a startup environment.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent real-world experience.
