Description

You will lead the design and development of high-quality components for N-tier systems in an onsite capacity in Richmond, VA.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services and applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API.
• Enforce programming standards, participate in code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
• Develop and tune SQL Server stored procedures and functions to support system requirements.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure software quality within an Agile SDLC.
• Collaborate with business and system analysts to clarify requirements and implement technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in software development.
• Advanced proficiency in C# and ASP.NET MVC.
• Extensive experience with Web API, JavaScript, jQuery, and AngularJS.
• Strong backend development skills using Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with HTML5 and CSS3.
• Expertise in SQL Server, including procedure/function development and performance tuning.
• Deep understanding of software design patterns, dependency injection, and tiered architecture.
• Experience with ADO.NET and Entity Frameworks.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing with Azure.
• Experience with .NET/GIS projects.
• Working knowledge of Dynamics 365 or Python scripting.
