Description

Lead the technical direction for building APIs and integration layers within an Azure-based microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and build REST-based APIs using .NET Web API and modern frameworks.
• Develop and deploy Azure Functions, App Services, and microservices.
• Implement system design patterns and SOLID principles to ensure scalable code.
• Configure Azure API Management (APIM) policies and manage API Gateways.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of software engineering experience with progression to a Lead role.
• 6+ years of experience as a Tech Lead focusing on APIs and integration.
• 5+ years of experience building REST APIs using .NET Web API.
• 3+ years of experience with .NET Core 3.1 and .NET 6.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience building applications on the Azure platform.
• Experience with Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure Cosmos, Azure Redis, or Azure Event Hub.
• Experience with Azure Service Bus, Event Grids, and ARM templates.
• Experience with xUnit, NUnit, Moq, AutoFac, NSubstitute, or Fluent Validation.
• 2+ years of experience with SSO integration (ForgeRock, Ping Identity, or Okta) and OAuth, SAML, or JWT.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of AKS and Azure Fabrics.
