Description

You will lead the design, implementation, and operation of network infrastructure within a Cisco-centric environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data center routing, switching, and high-availability systems.
• Manage production cut-overs in sensitive environments using formal change management processes.
• Troubleshoot wired and wireless networking issues, specifically within Cisco ecosystems.
• Integrate security protocols into all network design and daily operational decisions.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects, ensuring technical solutions keep deployments on track.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure as a Network Engineer in a Cisco environment.
• Expertise in Cisco Routing and Switching using Cisco IOS.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst 9xxx hardware.
• Direct experience with Cisco ACI and Cisco Client 2.3 or above.
• Proficiency in Cisco Wireless and wired networking, including Wireless Access.
• Experience with SDWAN, SDA, and policy-based networking.
• Knowledge of certificate-based authentication and device fingerprinting.
• Experience with VMWare administration and virtualization.
• Scripting experience using Python, Perl, Bash, or Shell.

Preferred Skills

• CCNP certification or higher.
• Experience in healthcare or other highly regulated industries.
