Description

You will own the design, implementation, and maintenance of network security infrastructure, including OT environments, while managing incident response and compliance reporting.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement backup strategies, asset inventory programs, and continuity of operations plans (COOP).
• Deploy and manage vulnerability scanning, centralized logging, and password management solutions across network infrastructure.
• Respond to and resolve network incidents, including connectivity issues, performance degradation, and security alerts.
• Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, IDS/IPS, and security appliances to enforce security rules, NAT, and threat protection.
• Document network configurations, standard procedures, and prepare detailed reports of security incidents for authorities.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in network administration and security.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, LANs, VLANs, trunks, spanning tree, IP subnetting, and wireless networking.
• Proficiency with firewalls for configuring security rules, NAT, and logging.
• Experience with IDS/IPS, SIEM tools, security event triage, and escalation.
• Ability to perform and analyze packet traces.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and vulnerability scanning tools.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles: defense in depth, least privilege, CIA triad, NAC, NGFW, VPN, micro-segmentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with intelligent transportation systems (ITS) device integration.
• Familiarity with cloud concepts (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, hybrid) and IT principles like high availability and clustering.
