Description

Lead the design and implementation of enterprise network security, firewall management, and Zero Trust segmentation strategies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize firewalls (Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, Cisco), including policy creation, maintenance, and rule base cleanup.
• Configure and tune App-ID, User-ID, Content-ID, IPS/IDS signatures, and SSL decryption policies.
• Administer Panorama centralized management and integrate with SIEM solutions for threat visibility.
• Design and implement Microsoft Defender Security suite, including attack surface reduction, EDR capabilities, and advanced KQL threat hunting.
• Develop enterprise network micro-segmentation strategies to support Zero Trust architecture and least-privilege access models.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in network security engineering.
• Deep expertise in firewall management (Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, Cisco).
• Proficiency with Panorama centralized management and FMC (Firepower Management Center) configuration.
• Experience designing and implementing network segmentation and micro-segmentation strategies.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Defender Security suite and MS Purview.
• Ability to create advanced KQL queries for threat hunting and automate security workflows using Defender API.
• Solid foundation in TCP/IP, routing, switching, and VPN technologies.
• Experience integrating security tools with SIEM solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Defender Security Engineering.
• Deep knowledge of MS Purview capabilities.
