Description

Lead NodeJS development, mentor engineers, and own the delivery of scalable API services and cloud-native products.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build complex, scalable NodeJS API service layers using Express or Nest.
• Write reusable, highly testable code with strict TDD practices using Mocha or Jest.
• Design database schemas and implement ORMs for both relational and non-relational databases.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage feature branching workflows for version control.
• Implement real-time communication features using socket programming.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Proven track record as a NodeJS developer with Express or Nest frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of RESTful API development and design.
• Proficiency in AWS or Azure cloud services.
• Experience writing unit tests and managing database schema design.
• Strong understanding of socket.io or similar socket programming libraries.
• Ability to mentor team members and enforce engineering best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of SOAP APIs and experience with Angular, React, or Vue.
• Experience in CI/CD implementation and cloud-native product development.
