Description

Lead the design and development of backend services and cloud-based architectures for credit management, fraud detection, and payment processing.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale backend services, features, and APIs.
• Define platform architecture, including technology selection and design principles.
• Own the entire application lifecycle from concept and design through to testing, release, and support.
• Mentor and guide junior team members through constructive feedback.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience developing with service and cloud-based architectures.
• Expert knowledge of Node, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Strong experience with AWS and Lambda.
• Proficiency with GraphQL.
• Experience with Serverless Architecture using CDK.
• Background in functional programming.
• Experience working in Agile environments such as Kanban or Scrum.
• Proven ability to own product development from 0 to 1.
• Experience working in at least two early-stage startups.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to independently scope and complete work within defined timelines.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
