Description

You will lead the design, development, and architecture of scalable Node.js applications and microservices.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Define technical standards, best practices, and coding guidelines for backend development.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions by collaborating with product owners and architects.
• Drive system performance, reliability, scalability, and security across applications.
• Design and implement RESTful and event-driven APIs.
• Oversee cloud-native deployments and CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshoot complex production issues.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall software development experience with strong hands-on Node.js expertise.
• Deep experience with TypeScript and JavaScript, including backend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and API design.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of security best practices, authentication, and authorization.
• Proven experience leading technical teams in a remote environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with event-driven architectures like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Strong DevOps and CI/CD experience.
