Description

You will maintain and support critical database systems 24x7 as an individual contributor, focusing on Oracle database operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of Oracle databases, including installation, configuration, monitoring, tuning, backup, and recovery.
• Design and implement scalable, high-performance database solutions in collaboration with architects and developers.
• Develop DB build processes on EC2, On-Premises, and RDS platforms using pipelines.
• Implement performance tuning measures such as index and SQL tuning to enhance application performance.
• Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions, specializing in RAC and DataGuard.

Required Skills

• Expertise managing Oracle 11g, 12c, and 19c databases on medium to large systems.
• Experience managing databases within Exadata environments.
• Proficiency in AWS cloud operations.
• Hands-on experience with automation using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform/Python.
• Strong skills in performance tuning, troubleshooting, backup, and restore/recovery processes.
• Knowledge of database security, including TDE, SSL, and TLS.
• Experience with Linux environments.
