You will maintain and support critical Oracle database systems as an individual contributor, ensuring 24x7 availability and performance.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of Oracle databases, including installation, configuration, monitoring, tuning, backup, and recovery.
• Design and implement scalable, high-performance database solutions in collaboration with architects and developers.
• Develop database build processes on EC2, On-Premises, and RDS platforms using CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions, specifically using RAC and DataGuard.
• Execute performance tuning measures, including index and SQL tuning, to enhance application performance.

Required Skills

• Expertise managing Oracle 11g, 12c, and 19c databases on medium to large systems.
• Experience managing databases within Exadata environments.
• Proficiency in AWS cloud operations.
• Hands-on automation experience using Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform/Python.
• Strong skills in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and backup/restore processes.
• Knowledge of database security, including TDE, SSL, and TLS.
• Experience with Linux environments.

Preferred Skills

• 7+ years of relevant experience in database administration.
• Any Graduate.
