Description

Lead a five-person team providing technical direction and people management for data center operational support services.

Responsibilities

• Manage Oracle databases using RAC, Grid infrastructure, ASM, Clusterware, and Data Guard.
• Execute database backup, recovery, high availability, and data replication tasks.
• Apply quarterly security patches and control database security systems.
• Perform system performance tuning, health monitoring, and diagnostic tasks.
• Lead the implementation of new data-related applications and database designs.

Required Skills

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Database Administrator.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager and Oracle RAC.
• Minimum 2 years of experience leading and managing a team.
• Experience with Red Hat Linux, Solaris, and Windows OS.
• Proficiency with Oracle database backup/recovery and tuning.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 9+ years of experience, Graduate Degree with 7+ years, or 13+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to support on-call rotations, including weekends, evenings, and overnight maintenance.
• Ability to travel to disaster recovery sites as needed.
• Must be able to obtain FAA Public Trust Suitability.

Preferred Skills

• SQL Server administration (2012 and later), including HA/DR and patching in virtual environments.
• Oracle Multitenant CDB/PDB administration and non-CDB to PDB migrations.
• CCNA, CISSP, or CompTIA Security+ certifications.
