Description

You maintain and support critical 24x7 Oracle database systems as an individual contributor.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support multiple Oracle 11g, 12c, and 19c databases on medium to large systems.
• Configure and administer replication using Golden Gate.
• Implement and manage high availability features including Oracle Data Guard and RAC.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform proactive monitoring, and manage backup/restore/recovery processes.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotational basis.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in database administration.
• Expertise in Oracle database management, including Exadata.
• Proficiency in ASM management, TDE, SSL, and TLS for database security.
• Strong experience with Oracle RMAN and OEM.
• Working knowledge of Linux, AIX, and Windows, including shell scripting.
• Exposure to automation using CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform/Python).
• Familiarity with cloud environments, specifically AWS.
• Knowledge of other RDBMS (PostgreSQL preferred) and NoSQL databases.
