Description

You will maintain and support critical Oracle database systems, ensuring 24x7 availability and performance.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Manage Oracle database operations, including installation, configuration, monitoring, tuning, backup, and maintenance.
• Design and implement scalable database solutions in collaboration with architects and developers.
• Develop database build processes on EC2, On-Premises, and RDS platforms using CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform database migrations using replication tools like Golden Gate or DMS.
• Implement security measures, including user authentication, access control, and encryption.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in database administration.
• Expertise managing Oracle databases (11g, 12c, 19c, 23ai) across Exadata, On-premises, and Cloud environments.
• Proficiency in performance tuning, including index and SQL optimization.
• Experience implementing monitoring solutions using OEM or DataDog.
• Working knowledge of AWS Cloud.
• Familiarity with automation using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, and Python.
• Strong skills in backup, restore/recovery, and high availability, specifically RAC and Dataguard.
• Experience with Linux and Aix operating systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Windows operating systems.
