Description

You will own the installation, configuration, and high availability of Oracle database environments. Your work ensures zero data loss through robust backup strategies and manages performance tuning for critical systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install and upgrade Oracle software, create new databases, and configure server hardware or virtual machines.
• Develop and implement comprehensive backup and recovery strategies using RMAN to prevent data loss.
• Manage disaster recovery scenarios and high availability setups using Oracle Data Guard.
• Monitor database performance, tuning SQL queries and optimizing memory allocation (SGA/PGA) and I/O.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and roles while implementing data encryption, auditing, and compliance standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
• Deep expertise in Oracle Database administration and architecture.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL development and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with RMAN for backup and recovery.
• Experience with Oracle Data Guard for disaster recovery.
• Knowledge of database security, encryption, and auditing.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodologies.
