Description

Lead performance engineering efforts for web, API, and backend systems, owning the design and execution of comprehensive testing strategies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated performance test scripts using Apache JMeter for web, API, and microservices.
• Conduct load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing to identify bottlenecks in Next.js applications and backend systems.
• Analyze system metrics (CPU, memory, GC, I/O, network) and provide actionable optimization recommendations.
• Integrate performance test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to improve application and infrastructure performance.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Performance Engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with Apache JMeter (test plans, scripting, distributed testing).
• Experience with API performance testing (REST/JSON, SOAP) and automation frameworks.
• Front-end performance testing experience on Next.js applications.
• Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, JSON, and XML.
• Proficiency with performance monitoring tools (APM, server logs, JVM monitoring).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools including Jenkins and Git.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Load Runner.
• Experience with Dynatrace.
