Description

You will own the performance engineering lifecycle for applications migrating to new data centers and containerized environments. You define non-functional requirements, design test strategies, and validate scalability and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather Non-Functional Requirements, SLAs, and workload models.
• Design and implement performance test strategies for migration validation and infrastructure refresh.
• Develop and maintain performance test scripts using LoadRunner and JMeter.
• Conduct deep-dive bottleneck analysis across application, middleware, infrastructure, and database layers.
• Plan and execute Chaos Engineering experiments to validate system stability under failure conditions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in performance engineering and NFR definition.
• Expertise in LoadRunner (VuGen, Controller, Analysis) and Apache JMeter.
• Hands-on experience with AppDynamics and Splunk for monitoring and root cause analysis.
• Strong capability in performance diagnostics, analyzing CPU, memory, thread pools, connection pools, GC logs, and SQL performance.
• Experience with containerized/OpenShift environments and microservices architecture.
• Ability to design workload distribution models based on business usage patterns.
• Exposure to Java and .NET applications.

Preferred Skills

• Experience executing controlled failure experiments using Gremlin or Chaos Mesh.
• Familiarity with CI/CD integrated performance testing.
• Experience handling performance testing for applications where no historical data exists.
