Description

You will lead performance engineering efforts to ensure application scalability, stability, and resource efficiency.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute performance test strategies, plans, and scalable scripts using JMeter, Java, and Fiddler.
• Monitor and analyze application performance using Dynatrace, Datadog, and Splunk to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
• Perform deep-dive diagnostics, including GC analysis, heap analysis, and thread analysis, to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement performance tuning and architectural optimizations.
• Mentor junior engineers and establish performance engineering best practices and guidelines across the lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in performance engineering, testing, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Strong programming proficiency in Java.
• Hands-on expertise with JMeter and Fiddler for script development.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools including Dynatrace, Datadog, and Splunk.
• Advanced SQL skills for database performance tuning and analysis.
• Experience with CI/CD automation using Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration via Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience managing performance in Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
• Understanding of load balancing, CDNs, and distributed system optimization.

Preferred Skills

• Experience optimizing both SQL and NoSQL database performance.
