Description

You will own the platform infrastructure architecture and high-level design for high-availability environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-level designs for platform infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements.
• Maintain the technology roadmap for Platform and Unix Solutions in line with end-of-support dates.
• Ensure new solutions conform to policies and standards, meeting defined non-functional requirements for performance, scalability, availability, security, and manageability.
• Evaluate products for project usage and take responsibility for trialling new technologies.
• Identify, assess, and communicate technical risks to Business and Operations teams effectively.

Required Skills

• Significant experience in demanding, high-availability environments.
• Proven experience delivering complex technical designs and architectures.
• Deep expertise in Linux (Oracle Linux, RHEL), VMware, Virtualization, OVM, KVM, OLVM, and ESX.
• Ability to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Any Graduate.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Solaris 11, Containers (K8S), VMware (vSAN, vROPs, NSX), IT Security, or HSM knowledge (Entrust NShield / XC, Thales PayShield).
• Continual ability to identify market trends and provide sustainable solutions to complex problems.
