Description

Lead the design, implementation, and governance of Power BI solutions, guiding teams through production updates and new implementations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Guide new implementations and manage updates to production reports.
• Triage technical challenges and provide solutions based on experience.
• Guide existing BI developers, oversee delivery, and train or upskill resources.
• Translate business requirements into immersive BI experiences aligned with the Target State BI Architecture.
• Define and enforce best practices for Fabric/Power BI delivery, including security and access models.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Power BI (Desktop, Service).
• Expertise in DAX and Power Query (M).
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, including fact/dimension tables and star schema.
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing.
• Ability to communicate with business stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Understanding of access, connections, and security models for data and report access.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in Microsoft Fabric to create Power BI reports.
• Familiarity with Azure, cloud data platforms, APIs, and data integration tools.

Bachelor's degree required. 3-year tenure expectation.
