Description

Lead technical development and production execution for electric drive systems. You will define engineering requirements, design components, and integrate systems into vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical lead for electric drive projects, executing production development processes with plant teams.
• Perform functional decomposition and define interfaces between sub-systems.
• Design and analyze electric drive components, including electric machines, inverters, converters, batteries, and control systems.
• Integrate electric drive systems into vehicles by designing interfaces and specifying vehicle system requirements.
• Commission new systems and vehicles, troubleshooting problems and determining software performance parameters.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in product design.
• 2+ years of experience leading technical projects.
• 2+ years of technical experience in the development or testing of electric drive systems.
• Proven ability to design electric drive systems within a production environment to meet technical and financial goals.
• Expertise in requirements definition and documentation.
• Experience in component and system verification, including test planning, setup, execution, and documentation.
• Knowledge of functional performance, environmental qualification, certification, reliability, and system durability.
• Ability to work across simulation, motor, hardware, and software development teams.
• Degree in Electrical or Electronics discipline or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Master's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Technology discipline.
