Description

You will lead application design, architecture, and development using Python and AWS services.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect microservices using Python, deploying them via AWS Lambda and ECS.
• Review and validate technology stacks, dependencies, security, compliance, and disaster recovery requirements.
• Manage the full application lifecycle, including coding, debugging, and creating technical design documents.
• Implement cost optimization, security governance, and automation using Terraform and GitLab.
• Present technical status updates to senior leadership and discuss architectural concepts with client SMEs.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in application development, design, and architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and microservices architecture.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, and Aurora DB.
• Experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Proficiency with Terraform and GitLab for CI/CD and automation.
• Solid understanding of SQL query optimization and database design.
• Experience working within Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to conduct architecture and design reviews with security teams.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect Associate, Developer, or DevOps).
• Cloud certifications in GCP or Azure.
