Description

Architect and build scalable applications using Python, Django, Flask, and FastAPI. Own the release pipeline through CI/CD automation, containerization, and orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Implement and optimize API integrations with third-party systems including GDS, CRS, OTA, and airline-specific APIs.
• Design and manage complex data pipelines using ETL processes, data lakes, and distributed data stores.
• Develop modular applications using microservices principles to support independent deployment.
• Optimize code for load balancing, query handling, and resource management to reduce latency.
• Implement secure coding practices, data encryption, and ensure compliance with PCI DSS and GDPR.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience with Python.
• Hands-on experience with Django, Flask, and FastAPI.
• Proficiency in RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, specifically PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Knowledge of big data tools including Spark and Kafka.
• Cloud platform experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• CI/CD tool proficiency with Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Testing and quality assurance experience using PyTest, Selenium, and SonarQube.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with travel APIs (GDS, CRS), booking flows, and payment gateway integration.
