Description

You will lead the migration of existing applications and scripts from external vendor environments into the internal platform.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Analyze vendor-provided Python codebases and related assets.
• Migrate, refactor, and integrate code into the internal platform, ensuring compatibility.
• Re-architect components to align with internal standards and best practices.
• Enhance and extend existing code functionality based on business requirements.
• Develop automated tests to validate migrated and enhanced code functionality.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python (3.x).
• Expert knowledge of data engineering or ETL processes.
• Proficiency with Pandas, NumPy, SQLAlchemy, and PySpark.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and data pipelines.
• Experience with code migration, integration, or re-platforming projects.
• Familiarity with software design patterns and refactoring best practices.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks (pytest/unittest).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker).
