Description

Lead the design and maintenance of scalable backend services and data pipelines for mission-critical systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services using Python and/or Java.
• Develop RESTful APIs and data processing pipelines.
• Implement automated CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment.
• Deploy applications to AWS using Lambda, ECS, EKS, EC2, S3, and API Gateway.
• Manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software development experience using Python and/or Java.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services in production environments.
• Deep experience with CI/CD tools and automation workflows.
• Proficiency with Docker and containerized development.
• Experience with Git, REST APIs, and microservice architecture.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and DynamoDB.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and cloud security best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Kubernetes.
