Description

You will lead the architecture and development of backend systems for data ingestion and analytics platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect backend systems for data ingestion and analytics platforms.
• Build and maintain data pipelines to ingest and store data from internal and external sources.
• Lead a team of senior developers to ensure alignment with firm goals and the development roadmap.
• Develop quality control processes, monitoring systems, and workflow dashboards.
• Optimize SQL performance and implement quantitative models and risk analytics.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in application design, coding, testing, maintenance, and debugging.
• 5+ years of experience leading senior developers within the financial domain.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Java, REST APIs, and Microservices.
• Strong experience with cloud technologies including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Spark, and Kafka.
• Proficiency with Git and DevOps tools such as Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Expertise in designing data models and building pipelines for large-scale financial data.
• Familiarity with market data vendors like Bloomberg, Markit, S&P, or ICE.
• Knowledge of fixed income asset types including corporate bonds, MBS, and CLOs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with security master data systems and financial market data vendors.
• Expertise in distributed systems handling large-scale trades, risk, and market data.
• Knowledge of fixed income analytics for Treasuries and derivatives.
