Description

Lead QA strategy and automation for large-scale data pipelines and API ecosystems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define QA strategy and mentor engineers on shift-left practices and quality alignment.
• Own end-to-end API testing for ingestion, processing, and semantic search workflows.
• Design scalable automation frameworks using JavaScript/Jest or Python/Pytest.
• Execute high-scale load tests with Locust to optimize API latency and throughput.
• Build observability dashboards and maintain Confluence documentation for test strategies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years as a QA Lead or Senior QA Engineer managing distributed systems.
• Deep proficiency in Python or JavaScript for backend and API automation.
• Experience with Pytest, Jest, and REST/JSON validation.
• Strong AWS expertise: S3, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, ALB, SQS/SNS, Athena.
• Hands-on experience with Locust for performance and load testing.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and AWS CodeBuild.
• Experience validating large-scale data (millions of records) and metadata mappings.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI/semantic search validation (AWS Bedrock, Cohere, OpenSearch).
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and ephemeral test environments.
