Description

You will lead quality assurance efforts for complex, data-driven financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement test strategies, planning, execution, and reporting.
• Lead functional, integration, regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts.
• Manage the defect lifecycle, perform root cause analysis, and communicate business impact.
• Perform SQL-based data testing, including joins, aggregation, and large dataset validation.
• Integrate and execute tests within CI/CD pipelines, such as Azure DevOps.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in quality assurance, focusing on data-intensive applications.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and working with large financial datasets.
• Foundation in fixed income instruments (Bonds, MBS, ABS), mortgage loans, equities, and derivatives.
• Demonstrated experience using agile methodology tools like Azure DevOps and Jira.
• Proficiency utilizing Snowflake data warehouse.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and identify bug patterns.
• Strong data reconciliation and financial impact analysis capabilities.
• High attention to detail and strong documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with DBT.
• Knowledge of Python for ad-hoc testing or data validation.
