Lead QA strategy and manage a team to ensure software reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage QA strategies, processes, and best practices for high software reliability.
• Lead and mentor QA engineers in writing, executing, and fixing integration tests.
• Collaborate with development teams to align test cases with user requirements and business objectives.
• Manage production issues by leading rapid response efforts to diagnose and resolve urgent bugs.
• Perform acceptance testing and business validation to ensure features meet specifications.

Required Skills

• Over 7 years of experience in QA engineering, including leadership roles managing complex projects.
• Strong coding skills in JavaScript.
• Extensive experience using Mocha, Chai, Selenium, and Cypress or Playwright.
• Experience with Jira Xray or similar test case management tools.
• Knowledge of GitHub, CI, and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to build and manage cross-functional teams within a Scrum environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in video metadata ingestion, specifically with Comcast or similar platforms.
• ISTQB certification or Scrum certifications.
