Description

Lead the strategy, design, and implementation of functional and automated testing for complex data processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive high test automation coverage and establish technical quality gates for multi-tiered solutions.
• Define overall test strategies and QA plans for new initiatives from inception to completion.
• Lead and mentor offshore QA engineers through code reviews, problem-solving, and constructive feedback.
• Design modular, reusable, and reliable test automation frameworks for ETL, data conversions, and migrations.
• Collaborate with architects and developers to enforce quality standards based on functional and non-functional requirements.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance with a focus on data testing and quality analysis.
• Minimum 5 years of technical experience including strong SQL or No-SQL database skills.
• Minimum 2 years of experience leading other QA engineers or technical resources.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language for creating automation solutions.
• Experience with browser automated testing tools such as Selenium or TestCafe.
• Experience managing code via Git, including branching and pull requests for parallel releases.
• Ability to test data quality without the use of visual interfaces.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how to enhance them for testing needs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with C#, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, AWS, Data Lakes, and microservices.
• Experience with performance and load testing using tools like K6.
