• Lead and drive end-to-end (E2E) testing activities covering Functional, Integration, System, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across both web and mobile applications.
• Perform test planning, estimation, and scheduling for large and complex initiatives.
• Work effectively in an Agile environment, actively participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to ensure successful execution of SIT and E2E testing.
• Bring a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on QA automation experience with strong expertise in web automation using Playwright or Selenium with Java/Cucumber or equivalent automation frameworks.
• Demonstrate strong functional testing experience across both web and native mobile (iOS/Android) applications, including test planning, execution, defect management, and end-to-end validation.
• Design, develop, maintain, and execute scalable automated test suites for web applications.
• Conduct API and service-level testing using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent open-source frameworks.
• Perform backend and database validations with hands-on experience in MongoDB Compass and SQL.
• Support production deployments, smoke testing, and release validation activities to ensure application stability.
• Drive UAT activities, including bug triage, defect reporting, prioritization, and tracking using JIRA or Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Demonstrate strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities, including network-level analysis and log investigation.
• Utilize monitoring and observability platforms such as Kubernetes (K8s), Kibana, and Dynatrace for production validation and issue analysis.
• Partner closely with Development, Business Analysts (BA), Product Owners, UI/UX teams, and DevOps engineers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Coordinate effectively across onshore and offshore teams. • Exhibit excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Maintain flexibility to overlap with onsite working hours (until noon, as needed). Generic Managerial Skills
• Ability to lead distributed QA / SDET teams across onsite and offshore models.
• Strong communication skills with business, technology, product, and leadership stakeholders.
• Capability to define QA approach, automation roadmap, governance, metrics, and delivery cadence.
• Ability to mentor Quality Engineers and review test cases, automation scripts, and defect quality.
• Strong ownership mindset with risk identification, dependency management, and proactive escalation.
• Experience in fast-paced Agile delivery with accountability for release readiness and quality outcomes.
• Hands-on experience with mobile automation frameworks such as Appium, Maestro for native iOS and Android applications.
• Experience with mobile application testing across multiple devices, operating systems, and screen sizes.
• Experience implementing automation in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or similar).
• Knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript-based automation frameworks.
• Experience with responsive web testing, accessibility testing, and cross-browser compatibility testing.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining API automation frameworks
