You will lead architecture, planning, and research for complex EDA software projects, serving as the technical reference for the team.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead project-level architecture, planning, and research activities for EDA software.
• Coordinate product design and development, including software design and solver research.
• Mentor team members through technical reviews and act as the primary technical reference.
• Perform complex bug verification, release testing, and beta support.
• Translate marketing requirements and performance criteria into technical specifications.

Required Skills

• Deep understanding of C++ and Python programming.
• Extensive commercial experience with software design and development methodologies for electronics design automation.
• Proven track record of delivering results on complex problems in a leadership capacity.
• BS in Engineering or Computer Science with 8 years of experience, MS with 6 years, or PhD with 4 years.
• Expertise in software design and ability to operate without direct supervision as a technical lead or architect.

Preferred Skills

• Commercial experience with electronics circuit simulations and numerical analysis using optimal data structures and algorithms.
• Experience leading projects in a large-scale commercial software development environment.
