Description

Lead feature development and technical solutions for embedded systems in a multitasking environment. Translate product requirements into architectures and actionable plans. Manage risks and anticipate technical issues to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop Linux applications following POSIX standards.
• Optimize system performance through profiling and low-level software analysis.
• Manage technical risks and deliver solutions within embedded environments.
• Communicate technical solutions to stakeholders and work independently.

Required Skills

• 15 to 17 years of experience in embedded systems and embedded software development.
• Extensive experience with RDK and embedded C/C++ programming.
• Deep knowledge of Linux systems, Linux internals, and Yocto.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and device drivers.
• Experience with low-level platform software and AV pipelines.
• Proficiency with Git, Gerrit, and Shell scripting.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence for project tracking.

Preferred Skills

• Deep understanding of the Set Top Box software stack and RDK video stack.
• Experience with system profiling for CPU, GPU, NPU, TPU, and Memory.
