Description

You will own the mobile architecture blueprint, defining standards for React Native and native interoperability while establishing domain models and API contracts. You will design scalable backend integrations using GraphQL and REST, implementing offline-first patterns, secure authentication, and telemetry pipelines for observability. You will implement Zero Trust security principles, ensuring compliance with OWASP MASVS and NIST standards, and oversee MDM/UEM policies. You will define CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI, standardizing testing strategies and release orchestration. Additionally, you will optimize app performance, manage data flows with local storage solutions, and mentor senior engineers through architecture review boards.

Responsibilities

• Own the mobile architecture blueprint and define reference architectures for hybrid and native solutions.
• Design scalable backend integrations, including API gateways, caching, and event-driven patterns.
• Implement Zero Trust security, secure storage, and compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.
• Define CI/CD pipelines, release orchestration, and comprehensive testing strategies for mobile apps.
• Mentor architects and senior engineers while driving secure SDLC practices and ADRs.

Required Skills

• 12+ years in software engineering, with 6+ years leading enterprise-grade mobile solutions.
• Deep expertise in React Native or Flutter, with familiarity in native iOS/Android development.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, API gateways (Azure API Management, Kong, Apigee), and GraphQL.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
• Proficiency in Node.js for backend integration and server-side logic.
• Understanding of secure storage (Keychain, Keystore), device attestation, and threat modeling.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Xcode, Fastlane, and Bitrise for iOS/Android build automation.
• Familiarity with MDM/UEM solutions like Microsoft Intune or VMware Workspace ONE.
