Description

You will lead the design, development, and enhancement of React-based user interfaces for an external-facing portal, integrating with REST/JSON APIs. You will own the front-end architecture, define reusable components, and establish secure patterns for enterprise authentication. You will drive cross-team collaboration, mentor developers, and enforce engineering standards for accessibility, performance, and security.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end architecture and design of scalable React applications, defining shared UI patterns and component libraries.
• Integrate UI applications with enterprise authentication systems (SSO/OIDC/OAuth) and manage secure token handling and session state.
• Own and improve CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, strengthening build automation and deployment reliability.
• Provide technical leadership across the SDLC in an Agile environment, including solution design, code reviews, and complex implementation.
• Partner with UX, product, and backend teams to translate requirements into solutions, while mentoring developers on best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with significant leadership in modern web UI initiatives.
• Deep hands-on experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript, including hooks, state management, and architectural decision-making.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles and domain-driven design applied to technical leadership.
• Proven experience integrating with REST APIs (HTTP/JSON) and managing configuration across environments.
• Experience establishing automated testing and quality practices using tools like Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
• Experience leading software delivery in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban), including backlog refinement and estimation.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in regulated enterprise environments, such as financial services.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot.
